Peace Corps/Cambodia is seeking to hire one or more drivers for our office in Phnom Penh to support the work of Peace Corps Volunteers.

Drivers for Peace Corps are expected to provide professional driving services for the office. In addition to driving staff, supplies and equipment to sites in all areas of the country, drivers are expected to assist staff with loading items in vehicles or manually moving items as needed form offices and residences. While not assigned to drive outside Phnom Penh, drivers are expected to drive staff around town and are expected to deliver and pick up items at locations around Phnom Penh. Drivers are expected to perform limited administrative and clerical duties; to include assisting with inventory, serving as a receptionist at the office at times when the regular receptionist is not present, perform facility maintenance tasks as needed and other duties that may be assigned. The drivers are expected to serve as duty drivers for one week on a rotational basis, at which time they are expected to be on call 24/7. Drivers must adhere to Peace Corps policies and procedures, including the completion of driving logs and monitoring of maintenance needs for vehicles and the office generator. Drivers must be sufficiently fluent in English to be able to respond to calls from English speaking staff and volunteers.

Qualifications:
• Driving experience with foreign organizations
• Good written and spoken Khmer and English language skills
• Knowledge and experience in basic vehicle maintenance and repair
• Valid Driver’s permit
