DYNAMIC Extension and Research Coordinators, CAVAC

CAVAC (Cambodian Agricultural Value Chain Program) is a dynamic, newly starting program funded by AusAID. It is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic candidates suitable for 3 posts as Extension and Research Coordinators for its 3 Provinces. While experience in agric extension is desirable, persons who have a clear vision and enthusiasm for improving Cambodian agriculture should apply. Staff will enjoy being part of a dynamic learning group that will have tremendous impact in farming communities in the 3 CAVAC provinces through each of its 4 components.

Other Competences:
•A formal B.S. or Masters degree in agriculture or agriculture-related field at a recognized university OR a B.A. or Masters degree in an associated field that would contribute toward the position
•Strong desire for positive experiences in agricultural extension and/or research
•Excellent communication skills (Writing and Speaking) in both English and Khmer
•Analytical and problem-solving skills desirable
•Ability to work under pressure with little supervision
•Computer proficiency is required
•Ability to work in a dynamic team

DYNAMIC Extension and Research Coordinators
|
The positions will initially be based in Phnom Penh with extensive travel to the provinces and later may be fully based in one of the 3 target provinces. A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with dynamism, enthusiasm, and experience.
